Himali M. K. Delanka-Pedige

Dr. Himali Delanka-Pedige is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Civil Engineering at New Mexico State University (NMSU). She received her BS degree in Civil Engineering from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2015. She moved to USA in 2017 to continue her higher studies and completed her MS and PhD in Environmental Engineering from New Mexico State University. Her research work initially focused on biological wastewater treatment, water quality monitoring, wastewater pathogens, trace organic characterization, water reuse, resource recovery, and wastewater treatment process modeling. Currently, she works on produced water characterization and treatment for beneficial reuse.
