Calin Toffoli

Calin Toffoli has over several years’ experience in environmental and process engineering design and environmental permitting. Mrs. Toffoli currently works for Tetra Tech in their water/wastewater engineering division, where she focuses on current Texas regulations for water/wastewater permitting. She has also worked on Produced Water Beneficial Reuse permits for the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) and the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) permits through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

Mrs. Toffoli has been involved in several pilot projects for produced water treatment for beneficial reuse during her time at Tetra Tech. In particular, she has worked as an onsite engineer and  operator for a Desalination Pilot, and she has submitted three (3) TPDES permits for surface discharge of treated produced water that are currently in the midst of TCEQ technical review. For several other clients, she has collected produced water pilot treatment data and analyzed it for process improvements and potential problem constituents. She specializes in collecting data from these pilot projects and creating insightful graphics that highlight process performance compared to government regulations.
