Chad Unrau

Chad Unrau is the Vice President of Reuse at Aris Water Solutions, where he leads efforts to advance sustainable water management practices in the energy sector. With over 15 years of experience in engineering and technology leadership, Chad has a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions. Prior to joining Aris Water Solutions in 2024, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Magna Imperio Systems Corp., spearheading advancements in water treatment technologies for over seven years. 

Earlier in his career, Chad held key roles as Director of Engineering at Nanovapor Inc. and Senior R&D Engineer at Cabot Corporation, gaining extensive expertise in research, development, and engineering management. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Based in Houston, Texas, Chad is passionate about leveraging technology to address critical challenges in water sustainability.
