John Moore

John Moore is an experienced water management leader with a strong record of operational excellence, safety stewardship, and cross-functional collaboration within the oil and gas industry. He currently serves as the Midland Basin Water Supervisor for ConocoPhillips, where he oversees daily operations, long-range planning, and a team responsible for transfer, pond, and recycle operations while maintaining key vendor and landowner relationships. Recognized as a technical expert in recycled produced water, John contributes to multiple internal teams focused on water strategy, technology implementation, and environmental performance across the organization.

Previously, John served as a Water Coordinator for Concho Resources, managing recycled water operations across both the Midland and Delaware Basins. His work included quality oversight, operational reporting, forecasting, and ensuring alignment with safety, ESG, and cost-efficiency metrics. His background also includes roles as Water Facilities Specialist at QEP Energy and President and Operations Manager of B & L Equipment, where he led operations for a private oilfield services company.

John’s career is supported by extensive professional and operational development and safety practices, from his time in the fire service.
