Rich Dealy

Rich Dealy is Vice President for the Permian Basin at ExxonMobil, a position to which he was appointed in May 2024 after the completion of the merger between ExxonMobil and Pioneer Natural Resources Company. 

A tenured leader, Dealy previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer from January 2024 through April 2024. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer (2021-2023) and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (2004-2020). Throughout his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Pioneer, including Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer (1998-2004) and Vice President and Controller (1997-1998). Dealy joined Parker & Parsley, a predecessor of Pioneer, in 1992, holding several financial leadership positions with the company. Prior to his time with Parker and Parsley, he was employed by KPMG. 

Dealy graduated Summa Cum Laude and has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Eastern New Mexico University.
