Rob Moak

Rob Moak is the Founding CEO of Tensora, a company delivering reservoir characterization and monitoring services through novel fiber optic deformation sensors.

Rob is an Environmental Engineer with a background in poroelasticity and groundwater resources. His graduate research at Clemson University focused on developing innovative methods for reservoir characterization and leak detection using Above Zone Deformation Monitoring — work that laid the technical foundation for Tensora’s approach to subsurface sensing. Today, he and the Tensora team are applying these methods to help operators better understand subsurface behavior, with direct applications to saltwater disposal, pressure management, and induced seismicity risk.
